Overview

St. Lucia's long history as as a trading nation, its central location, its membership in CARICOM & Caribbean Single Market makes St. Lucia the ideal location from which to service both the regional market and the near shore markets of North and Latin America.

St Lucia has significantly diversified its manufacturing base over the last decade, producing a range of products including food and beverages, corrugated cardboard cartons, handicraft, sporting goods, furniture, metal sheeting, apparel, and souvenir items among others. Access to these major markets and CARICOM countries, has attracted a wide spectrum of international businesses from the U.S., Europe, Canada, Korea, China, Hong Kong, the Caribbean and elsewhere.

Incentives
  • St. Lucia offers a wide spectrum of fiscal and other monetary incentives.
  • An approved manufacturing enterprise is granted a tax holiday of up 15 years depending on the value added in St. Lucia
  • Tax relief on export earnings outside CARICOM
  • Duty free concessions on the import of equipment machinery, spare parts and raw materials.
