e-Services St. Lucia Not To Be Affected By Acquisition

It is being reported that Affiliated Computer Services Inc., the Texas based IT service provider has acquired e-Services Group International for $85 million in cash.

As part of the transaction, ACS will assume the liabilities of the Caribbean-based target and will gain an additional 4,000 employees in Jamaica and St. Lucia. The IT company said it does not expect to restructure e-Services Group International's workforce.

Tom Blodgett, Executive Vice President and Group President of ACS Business Process Solutions, said the transaction allows ACS to expand in a location that gives clients access to cost competitive customer care and BPO services
